Contactless Payment of the next generation:
OBID myAXXESS® flatOne from FEIG ELECTRONIC is the world´s first EMV Level 1 certified RFID reader that can be flush-mounted into metal vending and ticketing machines. The front panel of the reader offers excellent protection against environmental influences and vandalism (IP65 protection class and IK10 vandalism protection).

OBID myAXXESS® flatOne was designed for use in Unattended Payment Terminals, vending machines, where the buyer carries out its payment processes independently without support of existing staff.

Compared with other EMV Level1 certified readers the FEIG device has an invaluable benefit: it can be flush-mounted into metal terminals!

OBID myAXXESS® flatOne supports all common contactless credit cards (Mastercard, Visa, American Express, Discover) and debit cards, contactless smart cards according to ISO14443-A and –B as well as NFC applications. It is particularly suitable for eTicketing- and eMobility applications due to four SAM sockets.

For flush integration of the reader in a vending machine a suitable hole is necessary. If this should not possible or welcome in case of retrofitting the terminals, FEIG also offers a variant with external antenna within the first half of 2013. Here the antenna is mounted on the machine while the electronics is protected inside of the terminal.
