The Combase AG was founded as a one-man business in Dresden by Thomas Freier in 1994. That time the enterprise was called Combase Informatic.

Dresden turned out to be an ideal location for information and communication technology: a well-developed landscape of technology and science, chip-production, ultra-modern communication network and technology-mad people.

Since the beginning the company has been being able to make itself a name with forward-looking ideas. Innovative software solutions demonstrated new paths to improve the competitiveness of the customers, to optimize their profitability and to increase the motivation of their employees. Nearness, confidence and transparency are part of the most important maxims of Combase. The success agrees with the enterprise: customer relations of the first days still exist today.

With the founding of Combase as a public limited company in the year 2000, the enterprise switched the points for an on-going successful and international expansion. The activities of Combase Informatic were given gradually to the new public limited company.

The combination of these authorities enables the Combase AG to advice customers in a forward-looking way and with long-term orientation and to support them in case of company-wide changes of their IT landscape. The values that Combase has obliged itself are competence, innovation and relationships based on partnership. These values are the common obligation of every employee of Combase AG - considering the work for the customer as well as the contact with each other in the enterprise.
